This book, titled “Stories of the Prophets” is a compilation of the works of Ibn Kathir, a famous Muslim exegete and historian. The stories have been extracted from his great work “Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah” (The Beginning and the End) and have a prominent place in Islamic literature. The book contains stories of the Prophets and their life events, which have been supported by Quranic verses and the traditions of the Prophet (SAW). When necessary, other sources have also been reported for historical accounts, and a comparative study has been made to prove the authenticity of the sources. The author has reproduced the views and interpretations of all the great exegetes of the Quran of his time. The stories have been written in chronological order to give a historical style to the book.
