In the holy book, Allah (sw) commands us to recite the Quran with Tajweed, or “Quran recitation modulating.” Tajweed serves as a guide for improving your recitation of the Quranic style. It’s the same way the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the way he recited it. As a result, Quran readers are eager to fulfill the Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) promise: “Whoever recites the Quran correctly and proficiently will be with the bountiful dutiful writers (the angels of the preserved tablet – Al laugh Al Mahfuz).”

To help readers improve their recitation, we’ve color-coded some letters based on a practical understanding of phonology. This helps classify these letters into three possible categories, making it easier to remember and apply Tajweed rules.

• The letters require expanded vocalization. We used red color to highlight these letters.
• The letters which are nasalized these letters are green in color.
• The dark blue color indicates the emphasis of the letter (R), and the blue color indicates the unrest letters-echoing sound- (qualquala)
• While the letters are written but are not vocalized. These letters are gray.

Reciting the Quran can be made easier by using colors. By visually highlighting certain parts, readers can apply the 24 Tajweed rules with ease and precision. This allows the mind to focus on comprehending and understanding the Holy Quran.
