Shining Stars Among the Prophet’s Companions (Vol 1 and 2)

In the Qur’an, Allah praises the Prophet’s Companions, both the Muhajirun (emigrants) and the Ansar (helpers), along with those who followed them faithfully. Allah expresses His satisfaction with them, and they, in turn, are pleased with Him. Additionally, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) emphasized the significance of his Companions by stating that they are a guarantee of safety for the Ummah (Muslim community). He also forewarned that when they depart from this world, the Ummah will face various trials and challenges.

Following this general rule, it is incumbent upon us to emulate all aspects of the lives of the Prophet’s Companions, seeking to acquire their noble qualities. In line with this objective, the author has meticulously compiled the life histories of the 18 greatest Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in an authentic manner. The book aims to guide the Muslim Ummah, particularly the young generation, to follow the Companions’ examples in every facet of life.

Darussalam has taken the initiative to publish this invaluable book in two volumes, recognizing its potential to inspire the Muslim Ummah to learn from and embody the virtues exhibited by the esteemed Companions. By studying and emulating their lives, Muslims can draw closer to the path of righteousness and find guidance in navigating the challenges of the present and the future.
