Noble Quran with Transliteration in Roman Script:
Reading the Arabic text of the Qur’anic verses accurately holds paramount importance for every Muslim, as slight changes in diacritics can alter the meanings of the words. To assist readers and reciters who may not be well-versed in the Arabic language or cannot read Arabic, Darussalam has prepared this edition of the Noble Qur’an, incorporating the transliteration of the Noble verses alongside their translations. It is hoped that this presentation will greatly aid and benefit those in need.
PREFACE All praise and thanks are for Allah, the Lord of Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exists), and peace be upon the Master of the Messengers, Muhammad. This interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Qur’an has undergone revisions, with the following changes made:
- Each verse has been individually presented with its corresponding English interpretation.
- The Arabic text of the Noble Qur’an has been sourced from Mushaf Al-Madinah An-Nabawiyyah, which was printed by the Mujamma’ of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia for the printing of Al-Mushaf Ash-Sharif in the year 1405 A.H., following the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor of the Islamic University. This replaces the previous Arabic text used in the earlier print of this book, which was produced in the United States and Turkey by the Turkish Calligrapher Sheikh Hamid Al-Amadi.
- Some chapters and Ahadith from Sahih Al-Bukhari and other Ahadith collections have been added or omitted.
- The English translation has been revised, with some additions, corrections, and alterations made to ensure a closer alignment with the correct and precise meanings of the Arabic text.
- This particular edition includes an additional column, providing readers with the transliteration of the Arabic verses alongside their translation. This addition aims to assist readers in reciting the Noble Verses more accurately with the help of transliteration.
