Description
Reading the Arabic text of the Quranic verses in their precise form holds paramount importance for every Muslim, as slight variations in diacritics can alter the meanings of Arabic words. To assist those readers and reciters who may not be well-versed in the Arabic language or cannot read Arabic script, Darussalam has produced this edition of the Noble Qur’an, incorporating the transliteration of the Noble verses alongside their translation. It is anticipated that this presentation will prove beneficial in this regard.
Preface: All praise and gratitude are due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, and may peace be upon the Master of the Messengers, Muhammad. This interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Qur’an has undergone a revision, and the following changes have been implemented:
- Each Verse is presented individually with its English interpretation.
- The Arabic text of the Noble Qur’an has been sourced from Mushaf Al-Madinah An-Nabawiyyah, printed by the Mujamma’ of King Fahd of Saudi Arabia for the printing of Al-Mushaf Ash-Sharif in the year 1405 A.H. This replaces the previous Arabic text used in this book, which was printed in the United States and Turkey, authored by the Turkish Calligrapher Sheikh Hamid Al-Amadi.
- Some chapters and Ahadith from Sahih Al-Bukhari and other Hadith collections have been added or omitted.
- Various additions, corrections, and alterations have been made to enhance the English translation, bringing it as close as possible to the accurate and exact meanings of the Arabic text.
- In this particular edition of the interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Qur’an, an additional column has been introduced, providing readers with the transliteration of the Arabic Verses alongside their translation. This is intended to aid readers in correctly reciting the Noble Verses with the assistance of transliteration.
Translators: Dr. Muhammad Tagi-ud-Din Al-Hilah and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan
