This is a set of six books from the Islamic Education Series. Acknowledging the pressing need for Islamic studies material in schools where English is the medium of instruction, Darussalam has undertaken the task of creating an Islamic Studies series encompassing all grades, from grade one through grade twelve. This series comprehensively covers all aspects of Islamic studies: tafseer, hadeeth, tawheed, fiqh, seerah, and general etiquette across various contexts. With a deep respect for authentic Islamic knowledge, every possible effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the material presented in the series. Recognizing the significance of Arabic Islamic terms, most of these terms are presented in their original Arabic script, accompanied by transliteration and translation, including supplications intended to be memorized in their Arabic form. The primary aim is to facilitate readers in comprehending the original text and its meanings. Each lesson is followed by exercises that include questions related to the content. Notably, the series is adorned with vibrant artwork that is sure to captivate the interest of children. This visual element is aimed at engaging, amusing, and educating young readers. The series is designed to familiarize students with the teachings of Islam across all dimensions: beliefs, practices, and moral conduct. With its unique attributes, this series effectively addresses a long-standing gap in this area. The inception of this remarkable work is credited to education expert Maulvi Abdul Aziz, MA in English literature, who held various roles in the field, including Senior Administrative Officer in the Department of Private Education, Ministry of Education, Dubai, UAE, from 1982 to 2002. The present form of this project owes much to several contributors. Notably, Al-Arabee Ben Razzouq from the College of Languages and Translation, Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University, Riyadh, meticulously verified the authenticity of the presented material, proofread the text, and added references to specific quotations from the Qur’an and hadeeth. Grateful recognition is extended to Sheikh Abdul-Qawiy Luqman, an Al-Madeenah University graduate, for insightful suggestions, and to Mr. Zulfiqar Mahmood, who diligently applied his expertise in graphic design to produce the series in its outstanding form. We fervently pray to Almighty Allah to reward our efforts and make this series incredibly beneficial for students at all stages of education and for anyone who engages with it. Abdul Malik Mujahid Jumaadaa ath-Thaaniyah, 1428 AH. July 2007.
