The “Arabic at Your Hands” series is a comprehensive language program designed for educational institutions such as schools, institutes, and universities. Its structured curriculum starts from the basic level and progresses with students until they achieve mastery of the Arabic language, enabling them to pursue further studies in various Arabic majors at the university level.
The first level of the series is divided into two parts, each containing 8 units, totaling 16 units. Within each unit, students will find 9 lessons, making a total of 144 basic lessons at this level. The lessons are thoughtfully organized to cover various aspects of language learning:
- First lesson: Includes the first dialogue, its vocabularies, and exercises (2 pages)
- Second lesson: Includes the second dialogue, its vocabularies, and exercises (2 pages)

To evaluate student’s progress and comprehension, the first level incorporates two types of tests:
- Short tests: There are 8 tests administered after every 2 units to assess students’ understanding and learning outcomes.
- Two comprehensive tests for determining level:
- Midlevel comprehensive test: Given at the end of the first book to evaluate overall comprehension and proficiency.
- Final comprehensive test: Administered at the end of the second book to assess students’ achievement and readiness for further studies.
At the end of the first level, students will find a group of vocabularies with illustrated pictures to reinforce their understanding. Additionally, the level includes lists of vocabulary used in each unit and an alphabetical list of all the vocabulary covered in this level, facilitating easy reference and review.
For language practice and reinforcement, the first level comprises listening texts along with an audio CD (8 hours) covering all texts and some of the exercises included. This audio resource helps students improve their listening skills and pronunciation.
Furthermore, a preparatory booklet for teaching Arabic letters is provided to lay a solid foundation for students’ Arabic language learning journey.
