Islamic Studies (Grade 11)

These textbooks, tailored for the eleventh and twelfth-grade levels, form an integral component of the encompassing Islamic Education series. This series spans the entire spectrum of Islamic studies, comprising tafseer, hadeeth, tawheed, fiqh, seerah, and general etiquette, all contextualized across various scenarios. Rigorous efforts have been undertaken to ensure the veracity of the materials within the series, with a predominant presentation of core Arabic terms in their original script, coupled with transliterations and meaningful translations. This inclusivity extends to supplications, designed for memorization in their Arabic rendition, with the overarching aim of facilitating readers in their engagement with the primary text and its comprehension. Complementing each lesson are exercises that delve into the content. A standout attribute of this series lies in its vibrant and captivating artwork, strategically integrated to captivate young readers, invoking both engagement and enlightenment. The objective of this series is to acquaint students holistically with the multifaceted teachings of Islam – encompassing beliefs, practices, and moral principles. Serving to bridge an enduring gap, this series, with its distinctive attributes, endeavors to fill an area that has been historically overlooked. The inception of this remarkable endeavor traces back to education expert Maulvi Abdul Aziz, MA in English literature, whose significant roles, including Senior Administrative Officer in the Department of Private Education, Ministry of Education, Dubai, UAE, from 1982 to 2002, set the stage. The current embodiment of this project owes its existence and form to a multitude of contributors, notably Al-Arabee Ben Razzouq, from the College of Languages and Translation at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University, Riyadh. Al-Arabee undertook the meticulous task of verifying content authenticity, methodically proofreading the text, and incorporating references to pertinent Qur’anic and hadeeth quotations. Gratitude extends to Sheikh Abdul-Qawiy Luqman, an Al-Madeenah University graduate, for enriching insights, and to Mr. Zulfiqar Mahmood, who meticulously applied his graphic design expertise to shape the series impeccably. As we embark on this endeavor, we beseech Almighty Allah to bless our pursuits, ensuring this series becomes a wellspring of substantial benefit for students at all levels of education and for all who engage with its content.
