“The Illustrious Women of Islam” is a compilation of biographies derived from two reputable Islamic history books written by Imam ad-Dhahabi and Ibn Hajar Asqalani. The first book chronicles the life stories of esteemed women who were closely related to the Prophet, including his wives, daughters, nursing mothers, granddaughters, paternal aunts, nursing sisters, and selected women from the Muhajirun and Ansar. The second book is an alphabetical biographical encyclopedia that highlights these admirable women from both humanity and the Jinn.
