Introducing the English Translation of Sunan An-Nasai, now available in a complete 6-Volume Set, a remarkable achievement brought to you by Dar-us-Salam after years of meticulous efforts. This publication maintains the same care for accurate translation, employing clear and modern English language, and adhering to high-quality publishing standards, as seen in other translations of the six books of Hadith.
Among the six collections, Sunan An-Nasai contains the fewest weak Ahadith after the two Sahih collections. Also known as al-Mujtaba or as-Sunan as-Sughara, it is a synopsis of a larger compilation of Ahadith that the author, Imam Abu Abdur-Rahman Ahmad bin Shu’aib bin Bahr An-Nasai (Nasa’ of Khurasan) (214-303AH), considered fairly reliable. Only the Ahadith he deemed reliable were included in this smaller compilation. Imam An-Nasai, like other great scholars of Hadith, embarked on journeys to Baghdad, Ash-Sham, Egypt, Mecca, and other cities in search of knowledge, receiving accolades from esteemed scholars like Ad-Daraqutni.
His compilation is highly regarded, with some scholars considering it to have the least number of defective or weak narrations among the four Sunan. Boasting 5761 Ahadith, this book holds immense value for any library.
Dar-us-Salam Publications’ translation offers several advantages, such as a final verdict on the authenticity of every Hadith (provided in parentheses), comments in English after many Ahadith to elucidate unclear points and further explanation of the Hadith, and translation from old manuscripts of Hadith to ensure the most authentic version. To maintain the closest proximity to the original meaning, the translation undergoes revision by three different levels of scholars, with Arabic and English placed side by side for effortless reference.
As with all Dar-us-Salam books, this publication boasts unmatched paper quality, binding, design, and print, ensuring an exceptional reading experience. Alhamdulillah!
